KNN, back in 2008, the top and "Bestest" KTV would be JiaYi (嘉怡), Hui Hua (明珠), FH (富豪) and Manhattan (慢克屯). All these 4 KTV's, I am very sure you have been to. If whoever brings you to Virgin, surely kena screw by you, right? If you say, 2004-2005, maybe yes. Virgin KTV is one of the highest, best and most fun to be in.

Then in 2009 when MF opened, you have to book in advance in order to have a room. Then it was OY, YH and now followed by HMTL. If you want to visit Virgin KTV during your next, by all means go and try. I heard there are a pathetic number of about 20-40 meimeis only, maybe mostly MILF.

SN costs have increased so much that it is only marginally cheaper in CP now (Compared to 2nd tier cities). while 2nd tier cites dun have the quantity, they make up for it in the quality. my writing is getting quite disorganised... in a nutshell, I used to detour to CP whenever i had to attend a meeting in East or North Asia. But with current price levels, it is no longer worth my effort. for 2k, i could get a good looking KTV gal in SG, book a 5 star hotel for 2 nites and save myself the hassle of traveling. Or i could choose to "fish" in a club/pub. i am no Brad Pitt but 2k in SG is still enough to impress some gals. and of cos, in first tier cities, with the right friends and the rite connection, the gals will flock to your table/booth. and we are talking decent gals.

Ok... so whats the good thing abt CP now. With the higher prices now, I am beginning to see top notch gals appearing in CP. In the past, i could have a 9 day trip in CP without seeing any stunner. but on this 3 nite trip alone, i saw 3. It was no accident. the richer the mongers, the prettier the gals. and the best thing about CP is the freedom it offers me. the freedom to bring a gal back to the hotel. the freedom to kiss an unknown gal at the lift lobby. the freedom to squeeze boobs without the fear of caning... etc.

Overall, this has been a good trip. I had lots of fun. But the value that CP brings is declining. My dollar doesn't go as far anymore. Will I return? I should think so, since i still hafta head to hk for business once in a while. but when i return, i would pre-book my gals before heading over.

When I was in CP, the urge to pay for that quality was overwhelming. But now that I am back in SG, and the level headedness returned, I am glad there was some self-control. Even the stunners in SH and BJ doesn't cost 10k.

Also, I want to add that the PRC customs seem to be doing stringent baggage checks at the Luohu crossing. I strongly advise AGAINST using that crossing for now. Took me 4 hours from HKIA to reach CP this trip.

This is a repeat post of my post in Clipper thread and hoping to help other bros understand better the place.

Hi bros,

Before i start, i would like to thanks cerebeus, tiger and strider for their help on preparation for the trip.

Just ended my trip in CP this morning. And i wld say that CP is a psyche changing place. I will start with my comments on clipper hotel.

Trip there
I took the option which cerebeus talked abt previously. Take A43 for 30.9KHD which will take you to sheung shui station. This is not the last stop but easily noticed as this is the first place with a MRT stop. Then you can have some HK food before you make yr way to Lowu checkpoint. Proceed past the checkpoint and took the 动车which will help you make yr way to CP in 30 min.( The station was still named CP despite many places saying its another name.

To get to Clipper there are 4 options
1) Cab, quote a price of 15rmb
2) Bicycle cabs( not taken, other bros can comment on the price)
3) Take bus 14 and stop at Tianerhu hotel
4) Walk

Forget abt having transport arranged by Tiger's gf, for some reason it is always out and then there is a rule of you need a grp of 10 before they will send.

Hotel
The location was superb for ppl who are visiting Bandao and Mayflower and the clubs. The girls all took me to walk back to the hotel when i visited those locations.

As stated by many others, this hotel has good and new infastructure. Net access is also swift. For me the standard room is already enough.(No use for a larger room) Too busy to do other stuff and girls do not care abt the room as long as you give them rmb in the end.

Bad parts: Super inflexible service

Things to take note:
Condom price is 30rmb a pack of 3.
Never lose yr breakfast ticket because it cannot be replaced
You can take a bus to the Zhongyuan st outside ( Bus 7)

Going on from where i left on...

I met one of the senior bros(Inchangping) who brought me on have a meal in one the Hunan restaurant which was great(Thanks a lot) and brought me to Lion spa.

As different girls provide different experiences, my comment is only valid for the girl i had.

Money for the gals was as stated by many of the senior bros in their posts.

Would like to go for the HD KTV in the future. KTV was the normal drinking, playing games, chatting and singing.

As for how the HK and Taiwanese ppl play
1) Their goal from what i analysed and also frm talking to the KTV mm, is to bring out the girls to bang, so you would expect them to leave early at around 9.30-10pm to go to Ahshi BBQ street which is near Huimei Hotel.
2)They are quite funny and it is almost like viewing a good taiwanese variety show in action
3) Most of the time, you can chat with them about many things.
4) Most of them are good at singing

Learning points( Many bros have contrubuted to my understanding)
1) Try to ask the girls whom have shorts or skirts as outside clothes, as long pants may hide scars
2) Try to give the right no and go to the agent at the right time to avoid having to go to the place yrself.

Needless to say. Please remeber to get a reservation no and reserve in advance or there would be a long wait esp on Saturdays and Sunday. They have a policy of only allowing 15min of waiting and they will give away yr slot if that happens

3) Shopping
CP is quite dismal in this aspect, it has a walking street which is near to ZhongYuanRd which offers many low quality products which is highly likely to fall apart.

There is a wholesale market which also offer retail sales for food and FMCGs if there are any bros need this type of stuff. It is somewhere you have to turn in on dongxing rd.


Ok...

So its time to return, I returned from HK, so this post is only valid for people going back from HK. As usual, there are multiple options

1) Railway back by Dongche 42.5 for 2nd class and 45 for 1st class( Already well illustrated by Cerebeus' post), forgot to add on the arriving trip, you shld buy the tickets from the operator inside and not the machines on the outside as they are tough to operate. Take ard 30min
2) Huatong( easy enough, just buy tickets at 180 from Tony cheong, Eustar)ard 2.30min
3) Coach bus from Miraton 40 rmb ard 3hr in total

I shall try other routes by SZ in the future.
