I'd say that these days, the absolute minimum would be a mixed KTV at RMB 300, plus the cost of the gal which at a minimum is 3-6-9. The upper limit though is pretty well the sky and depends on how lavish a night you would want your KTV session to be i.e. with multiple companions, high priced premium liquor, various foods, stuffed toys etc. For Saunas, I'd say circa 650 - 950 would for most places cover acceptable gal/facilties. back to sillypore after spending 10 days in DG ...
get to meet up with the taikors .... vertu, FGG, waikeekee and 爺爺 PTR .. busy trip for me as i travel up and down to GZ & SZ for most of my trips ... on my last nite in CP ... i decided to pay miraton hotel sauna a visit ... i think i've only been to miraton sauna once, a few yrs ago, in all my trips to CP and staying in this hotel all the time ... called one of the manager from the name cards i received everyday at the lift lobby and was told to go down to level 8 and meet him 10 mins later ... i am impressed to see a very nice decorated ambience sauna ... understand it was renovated abt 6 mths ago ... thus furnitures and stuffs r all new ... room comes with soft colorful lightings, round bed, ceiling mirror and a large bathroom ... the bathroom with the massage bed come with a high heat ceiling lights that warm the bathroom ... u literally do not feel cold when the gal is washing u .. gals selections was not too bad for that nite ... they have the 600, 700 and 800 package ... i took the 800 package and the gal really work hard to please ... i was surprised i can make it twice in that 2 hrs ... overall ... it's nice place ... IMHO, i would rate this place the best as compare with virgin, huimei, huihua or walter in terms of ambience, room condition and location ...

WOW - First time!!
Oh WOW....this is the very first time I've ever seen a price decrease in China!!
Took the CRH train up from Shenzhen to CP and it now only costs RMB 44.50 instead of 45 for the coach class!! Ooops....sorry to have posted about something that its not directly related to mongering services....but this is to me quite monumental....in that something actually went down in price in China....all of 1% !! LOL The cashier was going nuts with having to do more complicated calculations when giving change...especially for multiple ticket purchases! SEAN

But I gotta say, the new decoration seems to be straight from the pages of "Tales of Arabian Nights" - and seems so incongruous for CP; what were the decorators/owners thinking when they decided on such a hokey theme?? And I would say that in no time at all such decor will become dated and tacky instead. Oh wait, it reminds of some of those cheap, ratty places in Pattaya/Bangkok actually!! It's freaking COLD in CP!!! and some of the hotels have really poor heating. I am never gonna come in winter ever again

This being so, you got to request and persistently request for it as many times as you can manage to do so and usually they will manage to come up with one. the best time to start pestering Housekeeping, the front desk etc is between the hours of 11 A.M. and 3 P.M. as this when a lot of guests check out. Also, most hotel rooms do have extra blankets - either already in place in your room's closet or upon request - so don't be shy in requesting whatever it is you require. And oh of course there ARE a lot of natural body warmers around - usually lithe and nubile - to keep you nice and comfy!! And when its so cold, a lot of these nubile bodies would also NOT be wanting to leave such a nice and warm bed!! So enjoy bros!! SEAN

This is the time when you notice ye ye are in good use.... pass some yeye to the house keeping , tell them to pass you 1 or even 2 when avail. I love winter .. summer ....spring or autum as long as in CP . But doing SN on cold weather is a challenge lying on water bed for 30min.... Have fun .
