This friend of mine, I do agree that what you said applied to him. Further more, being the cost conscious type, the additional $35 for ferry ticket is an expense he can't get past, especially with SGD vs MYR so good to him now. Anyway, he's got a girlfriend now, switched to work the same schedule as her, means that even go JB with him is rare chance now.

Yup, taking ferry had the go holiday feel.. but, I do feel like going back home Everytime I syrup into batam. It's so familiar to the Singapore I grew up in.

Guys i know u all calling me carrot.. making fun of me.. but it's my first time.. i don't feel cheated, or i felt overpriced.. yes compared to u guys i may have overpaid.. everybody has their first time.. everybody has gone to an unknown country and got cheated/paid over price for something they shouldnt..

it's part n parcel of learning.. i didn't complain about the price cus i could have afforded it and yea if it's spoilling the market, i apologies.

i jus read back all the recent failed trip frm newbies. Some time ago, the fail rate 4 newbies following yr basic guide written here has been close 2 nothing,but the most recent fail rates were way higher 4 newbies who claimed they read the thread. Cn't help noticed they aldy took their veri first step wrong by nt stayin in the basic guide's mentioned hotel.

They were new,they read but perhaps too prideful 2 take in good advice. Failure is almost impossible 2 avoid in their cases.
