Not bad a rate for that day you guys went to Batam,but still...anywhere else will not have much significant difference unless you change at Batam's Ferry Terminal. Always check with at least 3 shops if you are looking for better rate (especially when you are changing a lot in group). Nonetheless,it is still better than changing in Sillypore, unless you go to Arcade at Raffles Place MRT or Chinatown PPC.

The 2 Chinese I have however did give me a very good time . The one from jarkata introduced by my Friend an speak mandarin to me but looks brown .
