Has anyone booked before the formosa hotel shuttle? It is stated on their webpage, bottom right hand corner. I emailed them, they said just need to put in the special request when booking the room on their website.

I also saw that and have asked in details. The answer is to enjoy 50k for 2-way Ferry Shuttle, you need to book the room directly via Formosa website which is a little bit more expensive than via agora/booking.com.

There are some trees for shade and traffic not as hectic.
Reach the other end in 15 mins....end of the road..turn right and it is Top 100 Penuin building.

I am going to Batam around 21 June - 29 June. Anyone going on those dates? I know it will be right smack in the Hari Raya season and it will probably be lean pickings. But only got that window of free time.

Can any experienced bros please help a brother out and reveal which location would probably be still open for business? If there are any bros out there who know or have a reliable driver in Batam who knows the ins and outs, I would greatly appreciate it if you can email me the name and contact number.

The same goes for any mamasan's contact number.

Just to clarify in case kena whacked by fellow Bros out there who might think I am just being lazy.....It is just that for those who frequent Indonesia (with the exception of Bali) will know....when near Hari Raya... it is quite a daunting task to get girls...unless you have reliable contacts.

I also need to be in Batam on those dates because of work commitment. So cannot siam or go elsewhere.

Zest Hotel Harbourbay

I went to their website and got a IDR337500 promo price, so I decided to give it a try since it's still quite new.







Pros:
- Walking distance to ferry terminal
- Elevator doesn't need room key card to use
- Claims to give you full 24 hrs from your check in to check out (I checked in at 12pm and checked out 11am next day, so didn't really tried it out)
- Close to Harbourbay stuff (cinema, OG supermarket, Ocean massage)
- Hot strong shower
- Decent WiFi
- In-room safebox (3rd pic)
- HBO, Fox Movies etc if you wanna watch in room

Cons
- No fridge
- Not much facilities (pool, massage, etc. either that or I didnt check)
- Away from the Nagoya centre where most stuff are

All in all it was a decent stay in a clean hotel, wouldn't mind coming back again

Will post the other part of my trip story next time!

If i am in your shoe,too cool was never a problem,i just open the window a bit.It should balance out the temperature. However if its too hot,i will call the maintenance. Always test the air-con during check in to prevent situation when the sun sets.

My friends were complaining,whenever there is a black out,he will have to wake up to turn on the air con again,hehehe...
