He has made a police report.

By the way, location of the attack is about 10 mins walk to Utama Hotel and Pagoda Hotel.

My advice to all travellers: NEVER, NEVER bring your passport with you when you go out! The safest place is your hotel room, with or without a safety box.
Besides mugging, which is a rare event, loose items can be lost, ANYTIME and ANYHERE. What do you do if you are in a foreign land without passport? It's a big pain.
My SOP when I arrive: I put my second credit card, passport, driver license, additional IDs that are not necessary, extra cash supply, etc. in the safety box of my hotel room.

PS: when I read "PR", I thought it was "Public Relations"

I had few friends that believe in carry passports with them whenever they travel all the time...

Recently re visited this almost forgotten playground that is so near to Singieland but yet seem so far.

I must say Batam Centre immigration has improved a lot since i last visited, even have priority lane for visitor.

Anyway, to cut the story short visited all the well-known joints like MAWAR, LINK etc.. mostly "little flying elephants" and all asking 1.5m. Visited Pacific disco, still a good fishing ground, a lot of freelances. But the hay day of the largest disco in Batam is no more... half of the hall is now some kind of "casino" (unconfirmed).

In the early afternoon, decided to pay Octapuss a visit as it is my first time.. first timer... remember it is not in the hotel but in the middle lobby of this Pacific complex (the one that looks like a ship). The lift is where the entrance of Pacific disco is located, go to level 8. You will be greeted by reception that explain the package, take a tag and go enjoy. Coffee is not free. Platinum girls are something like 1.2m, and Gold girls are like 800+k... i ask for "mirror" ie show all the girls and picked this Surabaya girl Tia (G51), sweet 20 year old with a very nice tits and body.

Game zone salon? The location of the attack is just 5mins walk from Biz Hotel. I stayed there last week, nothing much in the area except for the bustling foodcourt.

Brò the location is just besides your favourite swees karipok. Usually there are some gojet/grab riders camping there standby to take NFC food order.
