First - you say take ferry to harbourbay... what ferry are you taking??(if no idea i just recommand prima ferry... if you have no idea where its located at hbf go back your head against the wall a few times than look at the mall's map - SGD 48 for 2 way ticket.)

Second - take cab to hotel... your a virgin to batam... you have no idea what the place is like so let the locals take you around in their car. cough up 50k if you want to get to your hotel fast. if your malay and nego skill is good than go ahead and chop the price down to 30k or even 20k...but a few dollars is not going to kill you... you going on a holiday not to start a business)As for walking and picking up girls... unless you have a golden compass to point you or a map and you been through boys scout camp, get the locals to bring you to the joints.

Third - hotels - budget
nagoya one = 240k - new hotel - rooms look good - in the middle of now where.
de best hotel = 280k - good rooms - have wifi - just behind BCS mall - have good ba ku teh store near by.
CHOOSE.

Fourth - massage - look for the "king of massage" Bro Newyorker's "incomplete list of massage place" if you dont know how to get there than suck thumb in the hotel or get the local to bring you... in another words taxi...
